IMPORTANT INFORMATION
HOW DO I PREPARE FOR AN APPOINTMENT?
If you have been prescribed Isotretinoin/ Roaccutane by a Doctor then you will need to stop taking this 6 months before treatment. It is also important that your skin does not have a recent suntan (4 weeks), this includes the use of sunbeds.
DOES IT HURT?
No, the treatment is practically pain-free, like the flick of a rubber band. There is also no down time to the treatment.
HOW LONG DOES THE TREATMENT TAKE?
A facial treatment, including the consultation and preparation should take no more than 30 minutes. A typical course of therapy includes four treatments, three weeks apart.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
The light used is completely safe, visible light. It reduces the blood supply to the sebaceous gland, slowing down the production of sebum.
